maryna gaba is a Ukrainian artist whose work is influenced by queer-feminist and decolonial thought. Gaba uses video performances and performances in public spaces in an attempt to process the pain brought by poverty, exclusion, displacement, misogyny, heteronormativity, and structural violence. The driving force behind Maryna’s work is the awareness that we can connect through our different struggles, imagine queer-feminist utopias, and bring a reality of collective care closer.
