Masha Ravlyk Lukianova

Was born in Volzhsky, Russia, in 1987. Seamstress, artist, queer feminist activist, participant of 2 sewing cooperatives: Shvemy (since 2015, Ukrainian-Russian art group) and Resew (since 2016, experimental economic project). Works in Duet with Tonya Melnyk. Main media: textiles, clothes, video, photo, dance, performance, collective practices. Topics: resistance to capitalism and patriarchy, workers' rights, overcoming discrimination, migration, poverty, self-care, queer community subculture. Lives in Kyiv since 2016. Now has a temporary protection in Finland.
